OPEN INVITATIONAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT 

Event: CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Type: Competitive OR Non competitive divisions

When: 9:00 am, Thursday Aug 21, 2025

Location: Victoria Golf Course

Ages: 10-18yrs

Cost: $30 per junior (lunch included)

 COMPETITIVE DIVISION INFO:

• Qualifications -  Capable to shoot a round under 95 at Victoria GC in order to qualify for this division
• Is an individual score event
• Arrive at the course AT LEAST 15 mins before their tee time
• Players will hit off the BLACK tees except for juniors aged 12 and under or girls - they will hit off the WHITE tees.
• Parents/Adults not permitted on the course to caddy or coach
• All registered participants must carry or use/pull carts. Rental of pull carts are at members expense
• No motorized carts allowed
• Mark your scorecards at the tee box of the next hole to help speed of play
• Exchange scorecards so one of your playing partners is keeping your score Scorecards must be signed by both the scorer and the player with the date noted on the card
• All putts must be holed out - no gimmies: no mulligans
• Maximum 3 minutes allowed to look for lost balls
• Penalty for a lost ball or a ball hit out of bounds is one stroke plus distance (Add one stroke to your score and re-hit from the location the errant shot was made. To speed up play, hit a provisional ball if you are unsure whether the ball you just hit is lost or out of bounds
• Keep up to the group in front of you to maintain good pace of play
• A two stroke penalty will be charged to each member of any group who have fallen behind pace (more than one hole behind the group in front) and not caught up after two warnings
• All rules of golf apply to this tournament
• Open to non members
  

NON COMPETITIVE DIVISION INFO:

• Individual score format
• Playing groups of 4 will be arranged by RVJG
• RVJG cannot guarantee golf-with-friends or foursome partner requests.
• Play a round of 18 or 9 holes to keep it fun across all ages / abilities.
• All players will hit off the BLACK, WHITE or YELLOW tees.
• Teams should arrive at the course AT LEAST 15mins before their tee time.
• Exchange scorecards so one of your playing partners is keeping your score
• For RVJG members only

NOTES FOR ALL PLAYERS: 

• First tee time at 9:00 am
• Playing groups of 4 will be arranged by RVJG. Competitive players will be grouped together. Likewise non competitive players will be grouped together. 
• This round of golf is provided by RVJG. Your individual RVJG membership rounds will NOT be used to play this event.
• After playing your round,  juniors will receive a lunch, served by The Greenhouse Restaurant (included with registration).
